At the beginning the hostel had only a few guests in summertime, but after a couple of years and a lot of energy it became one of the most famous hostels of Italy. Also abroad it grew in popularity because of it's homy management and serene atmosphere, but especially for the cooking taken care of by Tiziano and Paola being the expert of desserts.

With this enormous amount of experience Paola has opened the Bed & Breakfast "La Marianna" in 2001. She fully furnished it herself and personally chose the materials to be used for renovating the building. Everything has been carefully selected, the colors, the furniture, as if it was to be for her own house and as if the clients are not just clients but her personal friends. In this way Paola hopes to create a "home-away-from-home" atmosphere (like one could find at the youth-hostel).
